| Event Centre |

The event centre is located at the Centro Sportivo Nazionale della Gioventù (National Youth Sports Centre) in Tenero ( www.cstenero.ch ) , a site with peaceful and wonderful surroundings creating a cheerful atmosphere for the competitions. Info desk and press centre, spaces for tents and campers, sleeping places in big tents, meals, snack-bars, beach on the lake, swimming pool and other sport infrastructures, sport and gadgets shops, internet café and much more are available inside the Event Centre.
The Centre will be officially opened on Saturday 9 th July at 16:00 and will close onSunday 17 th July at 09:30.
Attention:
- Nobody can remain over this time because new guests must arrive.
- All guests have to respect the rest hours starting at 22:00.
- Animals are not allowed inside the Centro Sportivo Tenero

| How to reach Tenero |
The village of Tenero is situated at the border of the Lake Maggiore. By car or bus it is easily accessible from highway A2 (Chiasso – San Gotthard) - exit Bellinzona Sud – then take direction Locarno on the main road for about 15 km until exit Tenero.
Transport by train is very easy: in Bellinzona take the line direction Locarno, up to Tenero station (800 meter from the event centre).
The next airport is located in Lugano; it is a small and informal airport, but you will probably have few flight connections. Bigger airports are in Milano (Malpensa or Linate) or Zürich. We discourage to use Zürich, except if you travel by train, because of frequent traffic jams at the San Gotthard Road Tunnel.

| Parking |
| Inside the CST motor vehicles are prohibited. For cars and busses there are free reserved parking spaces near the event centre. This parking is not supervised. Parking for campers is located at the entrance of CST, electricity (220 V) and water is available. Parking during competition days are subject to an Eco-tax of 5 CHF per day per car (or 20 CHF per car for the whole week). Weekly cards can be obtained at the Info desk. |

At the Info desk you can pick-up the competition material (program, bibs, transportation vouchers,
meals and accommodation, ev. SI-Cards). If there are differences in the balance you may be
required to pay it cash.
In case of rental of SI-Cards, you have to pay 30 CHF for each card as a guarantee.
You may also buy the weekly park voucher for the competitions (20 CHF per car)
and exchange the voucher with the train ticket valid during the whole week for the way
Tenero - Bellinzona (both ways).
Our personnel will be happy to answer your questions (usually in Italian,
English, German and French) and to meet your needs, if possible.

| Accommodation |
For clubs having booked accommodation, tent and camper areas, as well as sleeping places in tents are available starting from Saturday afternoon. Your place numbers (for tents, campers) are indicated in the distributed material.
In the big tents mattresses are available, participants should bring own sleeping bags. |

| Food in the Event Centre |
| Reserved meals can be taken in the cafeteria of CST, opened from 7.00 to 9.30 and from 19.45 to 20.15. First available meal is the dinner on Sunday, last meal the breakfast on Saturday. Vouchers for single meals can be requested at the info desk, at least 24 hours in advance. |

| Sunday afternoon at 14.30 there will be in the city of Bellinzona a spectacular sprint race, with the participation of the best orienteers of the world (elite and juniors). We hope to see many participants of the 5-Giorni among the spectators. |

| On Sunday 10 th July there will be an organised training in Rivera (Map Monte Ceneri, 1:10'000) available from 09:30 to 18:00. Maps with controls can be requested at the Info desk in Tenero (4 CHF). |
